If you are concerned that a child is at immediate risk of harm, please dial 999 or consult with the Front door on 03000 411 111 or 03000 419 191 (out of hours).

If you have a safeguarding concern regarding a child or would like to speak to our Safeguarding team, please contact us using the email addresses listed above.

    How we manage Safeguarding concerns:

At EAN, all staff are trained in safeguarding practices, in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education, The Children Act 1989 & 2004, Working Together to Safeguard Children and the Education Act 2002. All staff complete Safeguarding training annually, including PREVENT training, and are trained in CPI de-escalation and restraint practices. All safeguarding concerns and disclosures are reported to our Safeguarding team who will liaise with students, families and external services to ensure that all children are heard, seen and kept safe. All safeguarding information and data is stored in line with GDPR via our secure reporting system - CPOMS, and we work in close partnership with our feeder schools to ensure that safeguarding information is shared promptly.

If there is a safeguarding concern relating to your child, you will receive a call from the school safeguarding team, and may be asked to attend a meeting, or offered referrals to external support services. Our top priority is the welfare and safety of the children in our care, and their families, and we will strive to ensure that every child is provided with the support that they deserve.

If a safeguarding concern relates to a member of staff, this is reported to the LADO (Local Authority Designated Officer) by the Head Teacher, in line with 'Working Together to Safeguard Children'.Who we work with:
