Estuary Academy Island - Temporary Closure 25/11/2025

Dear Parents, Carers and Students,

Due to ongoing complications with hot water and heating the school site will be closed on Tuesday 25th November whilst essential repair works are undertaken to ensure the site meets all regulations in line with building temperature and hot water supplies.

We are sorry we have had to close and will be ensuring students have access to English and Maths work during this period, which you have already received for today. For Estuary students this will be emailed out to parents and placed on Google Classroom and for Nore Academy the work will be sent home through Class Dojo. Our safeguarding team will also be ringing you all tomorrow to check in.

For families in receipt of free school meals, who are pupil premium, there will be a drop-in in the main reception area between 10.00am and 11.00am tomorrow morning where you will be able to collect a food parcel to cover the site closure. If you have any queries about this or cannot make the drop in but still need support please email:

Please can I ask that you check your emails and the websites for information about reopening. We will send an update to you by 3pm on Tuesday 25th November about plans for Wednesday 26th.
